Poor Smalls...

So, this little one has gone through quite the fall! 

Right at the end of summer, she got hand foot and mouth disease.  She was fevering on and off for 2 weeks.  She finally got feeling a little better and then she got a UTI!

 This was the first day of school that poor Smalls couldn't go to.  She felt so lousy.  

 We finally got her on an antibiotic, and that helped a ton, but she just kept getting sick.  She was such a good patient though, she has such a good attitude and is such a good girl for the doctors who have helped us.

I had no idea kids could get so sick!  After the first week of school, her fingernails started falling out! I have never been so freaked out in all my life!  I immediately texted Grandpa, and he called me almost right after my text to tell me that she would be okay, but that her hair would probably fall out too!  SO SCARY ARE KIDS!!!  

I bought some biotene shampoo and tons of neosporin and watched her like a hawk!  

Eventually her nails grew back in and her hair didn't take too bad of a beating.  I truly had no idea kids could be so terrifying.
