Conference Weekend Part 1

This is Smalls.
She is at a pumpkin patch.  It is just me a Smalls on Conference weekend, the rest of us are in Twin Falls and Salt Lake.
Last year, I had the amazing idea of sending Kermit, Rambo, Grandpa, and Uncle Havel to the Priesthood session together because Kermit received the Priesthood this year, and I wanted it to be a special thing for him, not that it's not, but I wanted it to be memorable too.  So the plan was, we would go to Twin and spend the weekend as ladies, and the men would go to Salt Lake and go to Priesthood.  Good idea huh?
Well, Smalls was sick again...my poor poor baby.  So she and I stayed home.
I didn't want her feel like she was missing ALL the fun, so I took her to a pumpkin patch.
Doesn't she look like she's having a wonderful time?
We got to take a hay ride out to the pumpkins.
She is trying so hard to have fun.
We had ample time to search the patch for the perfect pumpkin, and search she did.
She picked up and carried with her about 5 different pumpkins before deciding that she wanted the first one she picked up.  She did not remember it as the first one she picked up though, she thought she was seeing it for the first time and got SO excited!
This is it!  This is the perfect, cute adorable perfect pumpkin.
She told me so.
And she is still trying to have fun and not lay down on the step.

I liked this one myself, but they wanted $13- for him, so I took a picture and was satisfied with that.

We went home and promptly took a nap, well, her not me.
Sweet girl.
We did have a good weekend though, just relaxing and building a haunted house.
I got my cute Lego haunted house built!
I started it last year, but didn't get it done, so I finished it this year while we listened to Conference.
Isn't it cute?
It really was a lovely way to spend the weekend, except that my sweet Smalls was sick.
