Pretty Dress

I love this little dress!

Getting London ready for church is like dressing up my own little doll.

Grandpa Astin bought her this dress to wear to Grandpa Sorenson's viewing. When Ethan told him she already had a dress, Grandpa said, "She's a girl, she can't wear the same thing twice."

I thought that was so sweet, and I think she looks so precious in this dress-that's right, I said precious.

Our Weekend!

So, Nana came up this weekend and helped us with a bunch of yard work, that woman is amazing. She never stops, she's an inspiration to me-she knows everything about plants and trees, and she's a really good little landscaper. These are just a few of her talents, she also sings, dances, cooks, does karate, juggles flaming torches, and rock climbs. I have just scraped the surface folks, I could go on all day about this woman, she ROCKS!

Anyway, here are some pics of our hard work. Oh, did I mention, she's also absolutely determined to teach Ethan to ride his bike? So we worked on that this weekend too-there is no end to this woman's talent!
I love you NANA!
Here is our car filled with trees and dirt, our little suby does a good job, we're proud of him!

What the Furtado?

Okay, I had no idea my kids would love Nelly Furtado so much.

We do this at least 3 times a day lately.

Goofballs!

Here's the picture Holdaway showed at Dad's funeral. I hope you can see it okay, it's such a funny picture when you get to see all the details of it.

It makes me miss him even more, I wish I could have seen that side of him more often. I'm just glad to know that one day I'll have the opportunity to get to know him better.

I miss him, and I feel like I can say I'm glad for him. He never would have been happy if his body didn't heal, and he had to continue his life in and out of the hospital. So, it's bitter sweet for me- for all of us. I'm grateful for the plan of Salvation that gives us the opportunity to be family forever, I take great comfort in that these days.

I miss my parents

My cute little Nerds!

My kids always crack me up!
Ethan's favorite thing is the fact that his teeth are falling out. Every time I take a picture of him, he smiles and sticks his tongue right there where the teeth are gone. He's very proud of his "hillbilly" style.
London's thing is socks! She puts socks on her hands and calls them her "chomp chomps". She makes them talk and chomp all kinds of stuff. This particular night she fell asleep with her "chomp chomps" on her hands-actually, I think she insisted on going to bed with them on. She looks so peaceful, maybe I'll try the chomp chomps...

Our last pictures with Grandpa

We're really going to miss you Dad/Grandpa.

Beautiful London

London got into my make-up bag last night, and of course, she played with-not just my eye-liner, but the eye-liner I bought at Sephora! I love that store, and so did London she truly is my daughter. Anyway, we've got some work to do on how to apply make-up, but I thought I'd show off her bang-up job! Isn't she lovely???

Here we are in our "darks". I have to agree with Jen, we are fun to mourn with.

What a crappy happy day.
