Here's the picture Holdaway showed at Dad's funeral. I hope you can see it okay, it's such a funny picture when you get to see all the details of it.
It makes me miss him even more, I wish I could have seen that side of him more often. I'm just glad to know that one day I'll have the opportunity to get to know him better.
I miss him, and I feel like I can say I'm glad for him. He never would have been happy if his body didn't heal, and he had to continue his life in and out of the hospital. So, it's bitter sweet for me- for all of us. I'm grateful for the plan of Salvation that gives us the opportunity to be family forever, I take great comfort in that these days.

I too miss your dad so much!! He was just so loving and fun! He meant so much to all of us. The funny side that we see in the picture is the side I always saw. That's why my boys thought he was the greatest Grandpa! He always kept them laughing. Our lives will forever be blessed because of having him in our family.
I am so glad you posted this picture of Randy and Rich. It is so fun to see your dad when he was young and light-hearted. We all love him so much and this just helps all of us. Thanks.
