TRUNK OR TREAT!
We love the trunk or treat our ward does. It is always so fun!
This year, Smalls was a vampire princess, Tink was an adorable witch, and Kermit was too cool to dress up. Tink was the only one who would do a pose with me before we headed off to the party! That's my girl!
I was a roller derby girl. I may or may not secretly want to do this...and I may or may not have chosen a pretty awesome roller derby girl name "Whoop Astin". I completely wore that to our trunk or treat, we just put Whoop on the front of my shirt and Astin on the back giving it a PG rating, instead of PG-13.
I bet roller derby girls get out a lot of aggression doing what they do...
Back to the point.
Smalls had the best time ever in the Monster Mash room. One of our bishopric members owns a dj business so he has tons of equipment and music and he does a fabulous job of being our monster dj every year at trunk or treat.
I could not get Smalls to stop so I could take a picture, so I am going to have to be happy with blurry, dancey pictures.
There was a super cute photo set-up, that only Tink would participate in with her sweet friend Matti, don't they look darling? Both the non-scariest witches I have ever seen!
HALLOWEEN DAY!
The best day of the year!!!
They couldn't dress up in costumes for the full day of school, but they had spirit week and Halloween was mustache day. Yep, mustache day. Tink looks pretty cute in her Hallween get-up and her stache, I think.
I had to take Smalls in for a little trimming of her hair, and I am so glad I took her in on Halloween! The girl who cute her hair was wearing red contact lenses! She looked so awesome! I love it when people take Halloween seriously. I wish her eyes showed up better in this picture, but you'll have to believe me, it was AWESOME! And Smalls was not one bit afraid, she thought it was amazing to tell everyone that a vampire cut her hair today and didn't even bite her neck.
Love her.
My sweet sister and nephew came to visit us for Halloween, and I am so glad they did! We had so much fun having them here. I have already forgotten what it's like to have a baby around the house, but we did our best to keep him out of trouble. Luckily, I have Tink and Smalls to babysit him and keep him from eating legos and lalaloopsy pets. My girls are the best.
We are carving pumpkins!
I waited waaaaaay to long to do that this year. I think I was in denial that October was going by so fast! We didn't even make it to a pumpkin patch as a family! We stink!
There she is! My cute sister carving her pumpkin.
I love how serious she is taking this too. She did a great job.
Aren't they the cutest!!!
I love how they turned out! I always do.
And, they are ready for trick or treating.
Kermit decided that dressing up for Halloween IS important.
A few days before Halloween, we found a 1970's detective kit at Fred Meyer, and i told him he should totally be that for Halloween. He told me it was stupid, and he didn't want to do it, I told him he would be sorry, and he was! We had to go back and get it, I think I gave it to him on his birthday, so he could be awesome on Halloween.
Thank goodness I am teaching these children some values!
I had to get the girls in this entryway! It was so cute, my picture doesn't do it justice.
We had so much fun trick or treating with Aunt Tricia and little William! They are the best.
We all got too cold and headed home, but our buckets were full and we were happy happy girls!
