It has been 15 years since this man decided to marry me.
It has not always been easy, but I am so glad we stick together through good times and bad times and seriously, rock bottom times.
I love my Rambo more than I can express, and I would do anything for him, and I believe he would do the same for me. We have been through a lot together, and for our 15th anniversary we thought it only fitting to really treat ourselves to a wonderful date.
These pictures were taken by the lovely and talented Kermit! He is such a sweet kid and a blooming photographer probably.
Now, I knew we were going to do a special dinner, and Rambo told me to dress up, so I did. I picked out a cute pair of earrings and nice necklace, and when I was about to put them on, he told me they didn't match, and I was all "everything matches black."
He pulled out a little box, and I instantly started to tear up.
My sweet kids got to watch as my husband gave me 3 beautiful rubies. A pair of earrings and a necklace.
He said it was one for every five years.
I was giggling and crying and the girls were dancing around, it was such a good moment.
Me, still a little giggly.
And there's the shot of all three! Aren't they gorgeous!
I don't even save them for special occasions, I wear them to Target and WinCo and all the exclusive places around town.
We took this selfie (or welfie) to document our night.
We went to dinner at Berry Hill and Co. and had a the most amazing steak and the most expensive Coke you can get.
It was absolutely lovely!
Afterward, we went home and told the kids to get in the car and we took them to Cold Stone for ice cream.
It was the best anniversary to date.
I love my family! And I am so glad we are in a good way right now.
Look at those babies! I cannot believe I own them! But what is more important is the story behind them which is the story of us. Me and my Rambo.
