Labor Day

All it took was just a few days of school before Kermit relaxed about it and realized he could totally do this thing!  About 2 weeks before school started, he was going through a phase where he couldn't sleep and his stomach was always upset, he was so nervous about starting middle school.
This was a fun night.  We were just finishing up the first week of school and still enjoying warm nights outside, and he was letting his little sisters decorate him.
I can't get over how much he looks like my dad/his grandpa in this picture.
 LABOR DAY WEEKEND!!!
We spent the weekend at Nana's house!  We had a lot of fun, we barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs and did all the stuff you are supposed to do on Labor day.
Just catching the Twin Falls sunsets.
 Literally.
Okay, we tried to.  I love these pictures where it looks like you're holding something far away, but they never seem to turn out as cute as the ones I see all the time on the internet.
Oh well.  At least my kids are super cute.
After humoring mom with silly sun-catching pictures, Tink and Kermit found a lizard!!!  Yes sir, you heard me!  A lizard!!!  I think all the houses around Nana's heard they found a lizard.
I loved it, because it kept them entertained for quite a while.
Tink is trying to poke it with her glasses.
Good thinking.
He was too too quick, where did he go???
He made a great accessory.  I don't know if Tink was terrified, or really enjoying it.  You just can't tell by that smile.
Smalls, on the other hand, had a crummy weekend.
She was sick again!  This poor girl.  She got hand foot and mouth disease 2 weeks before summer ended, so all the fun we were trying to squeeze in was so hard for her.  She wanted to have fun, but it's hard when you have a fever and feel lousy.
As soon as we got to Nana's house, she started fevering again, and just wanted to sleep.
I was glad we had Grandpa to help us through it.  He's good at keeping us calm when our babies are sick.  She just didn't want to do anything.  It was so sad.  Not even the lizard-well for a minute it cheered her up, but then she just wanted to get back on the couch or in bed.
I just love this picture of her on the sheep.  It was one of the moments of the trip she was happy, and she just looks adorable.
It really was a fun weekend, I just wish our Smalls had felt better.
Thank you again to our Nana and Grandpa for a fun weekend!
