The first order of business in our November was to make our thank you banner.
I LOVE doing this as a family!
It starts as a piece of twine, and I cute out a gazillion leaves on my amazing cutter (I love that thing). Then we have a family home evening on how important it is to be thankful, and introduce the idea to the childrens.
I love looking at it.
It is full of my favorite kinds of colors, and the leaves have the greatest gratitudes on them.
Smalls cannot write yet, so she draws pictures of flowers, puppies, her family, and so on. They are adorable.
This is one of my all-time favorite things Rambo has ever been thankful for.
I might have a little thing for Thor...yes, I think that's accurate.
This particular day, Rambo had taken me to see Thor 2. It was lovely. But not as lovely as finding his leaf that evening. I laughed until I was crying!
And then I had to kiss my "Thor".
We may have waited until November to do anything about our leaves.
But it was a seriously fun day playing in and cleaning up our leaves.
Our trees are actually big enough to make a mess now.
How considerate of them.
Looking at these pictures, it may not have been a good idea to play in leaves with suckers, but, they're alive so...no harm no foul.
Enjoy the last bits of warmth and sunshine kiddos!
