Moving right along!

I am determined to keep this going!  I just wish our life was a little more interesting to talk about.  I feel like I am always on the go!  But it's never anything mind blowing, it's just the business of life, however, I'm told that one day I will miss this, so I should document it...and so I shall.

In this next bit, Smalls will be playing the part of Jessi from Toy Story.  I forget how much she loves those movies!  Then she spots her Jessi hat in the top of the closet and her horse, and she falls in love all over again.
This particular version of Jessi owns a pink poodle.
I just thought it was hilarious to find her on the kitchen floor with her hairbrush, using it on her hop-along pony.  That brush was FILLED with black fluff when she was done.

Smalls is my little partner in crime.  I really do not know what I am going to do when she is in school.  Everyone tells me I will enjoy it, but I think I'm going to be a sub for their school just so I can stay close to these little girls who keep growing up up and away.
This particular day, we went to our friend Angie's for lunch.
And, she has a drum set.
It's a drum set that she doesn't even mind if kids play on it.
There were 6 kids playing together on this lunch date.
we heard a lot of drumming.
And this picture is too funny because these girls are on the counter to get away from.....
 this adorable little monkey!
He has issues with biting!  I remember when Kermit had those issues!  It was such a hard phase to go through.  I feel for my poor friend Kami who is having to deal with this.  We all found it hilarious that each kid dealt with it differently.  The girls retreated.  I was happy to hear that when Ryder tried to bite Aubrey she pushed him away and didn't cry.  Kami told her she did a good job.  It really was a hilarious day, and our Costa Vida was wonderful!  I love lunch with friends.

And see here?  This is story time at the library.  You would think I have no other children!  I feel bad about that, but I really do just spend soooo much time with this girl.
I haven't done story time at the library since Smalls was still in her little baby carseat!  It was so fun to go and let her do the hoky poky with all the other kids, and play on the computers.
Then they gave us this really cool size game where we got to color the kites and figure out if they are Humongous, large, medium, small, teeny, minuscule etc.  Smalls loved learning about sizes, her favorite is obviously minuscule.  She wanted to keep the little laminated tiny mice.
And we are finding signs of spring!  Which makes this mommy happy!  I would hibernate if I could, I am not a winter person, and I know I get it from my dad, he was not a winter person either.  It takes all my energy just to go grocery shopping in the winter because I would rather be inside in my blankets than go out and freeze.
Anyway, this robin in our tree made us so happy!  Every year, a little family of robins comes and makes a nest in our tree in the backyard, but one of them stands guard in the front yard tree, and they are back!  It's good to see them!
And this is me getting my DIY on!
My girls share a room and have a bunk bed, which is not a bad thing.  The bad thing is, they do not have night tables to put their books on, and so they wake up on top of books and books fall to the side of their beds and get stuck between the bed and the wall, and paper back books get bent!  It's not pretty for the poor books!  Also London has been known to fall asleep in her glasses and not take them off because she doesn't want to get up and put them on the dresser.
So I got these!!!
They are spice racks and they are supposed to hang over a kitchen cupboard, but i had other uses for them.
 See how nice!
No bent books anywhere!
And Tink can put her "wand" in her's, and her glasses case and her doodle journal.
The girls were almost as happy as I was!  ALMOST!  I am pretty sure I have patted myself on the back to the point of being prideful, but I am going to look past that.
 Tink's diorama.
She had to study an ecosystem and make a diorama depicting her ecosystem, and of course she chose the arctic because that is where penguins live!  and she could also incorporate sea creatures even though it was because they get eaten by the penguins and then the penguins get eaten by sea lions.  That bothered her for a minute and then she was talking about penguin poop, so I knew she would be okay.
I thought she did a great job on everything.  Their teacher had them make these projects at school so everyone would have access to the same materials so no one would feel bad.
I love how smart teachers are.
This post is really all over the place!
Smalls and I had to shop for my spice rack/book holder idea and we may have been right by a cold stone, so we went in for some ice cream, and she is dancing!
She loves her some cold stone, so she is just dancing around the whole place, we were the only ones there, but I don't think it would have mattered.
and, of course, lunch with Grandpa Dan!

How we love this man!  We sure are worried about him though.  He has to go in next week for a bone marrow biopsy and I just hate those words all together.  He has been having a lot of health problems over the last year, and some have gotten better and some have not.  he finally went to a hematologist and they have a sneaking suspicion that he has bone marrow cancer, so we have been praying our hearts out, and worrying.  But if you go to lunch with him, this is how he is:  just happy.  So we just enjoy our time together because we have no idea how much is left.
Coincidentally, I just renewed my bone marrow donor information.  Now, wouldn't it be cool IF he needed a transplant and I was a match?
Just thinking out loud....or whatever typing is.

Now, this is completely random, but needed to be documented because my husband thinks he is one of the neatest, cleanest people around (and he is...except...)
When I get out of bed in the morning, it looks like this:

When he gets out of bed to go to work in the evening, it looks like this:
I just want to know what animal he is dreaming of being, and I really should check on him more often than I do so I can catch him in the act of moving and shoving pillows here and there and he swears I am the one who makes the bed so messy.
This is why it is completely worth documenting.
And to end for now, here is Smalls in her cupcake dress watching Up.
We get out of church at noon, and that leaves a nice long day to watch Disney movies and Up is one of our favorites.  It still makes me and my sweet, softy girls cry.
and back to my ridiculous business!
See what I mean?  Nothing mind blowing, but just always on the go!

How is your sweet friend? What did the results say? I am sorry! You know this all to well - cancer sucks!

I love how much our kids love disney. We must be doing something right in raising them!

Keep going on keeping your blog up! It makes me SO happy!
