This gorgeous young lady is already preparing for what she wants for her birthday....in MAY!!
She wants a bike.
The kids had an extra day off this week, and Kermit was out playing with all his buddies, so us girls went looking for a bike for a little bit. That is what you do when it is rainy and crappy outside. We found some fun ones at Target, and we also found this helmet which Smalls had to put on and wander around a little in. She really looks amazing in it, that's what she thinks too.
My day of shopping for bikes and returning things was not all it was cracked up to be, so since the girls were good sports I took them to Kneaders for a treat. I love this place, so I do not come too often, a person could really pack on the pounds happily at a place like this.
I got a piece of strawberry cake, Tink got an enormous chocolate chip cookie, and Smalls got a chocolate dome. Those are as amazing as they sound.
While we were waiting, they brought out samples of Irish Soda Bread....
it changed my life.
It was the yummiest bread I have had in a long time! Holy cow! I bought a loaf of it, and then looked up recipes of it. I found a good one! I made it for a family I took dinner to a family in our ward this weekend and she called me and told me they loved it! I am so glad, you never know when you try a new recipe if it's going to rock your socks off, or if it's going to stink. This one is apparently a sock rocker offer, so woohoo!
And just ending on a silly note, I absolutely love Smalls' face in this picture!
