What the what?!?

How is it when I say, "London, please go get your shoes on." She hears, "London, please spill all the marshmallows in the pantry."???
I do not understand...

Haha, sounds familiar! I'm just going to start doing what Carson does ALL THE TIME and say "why?"

London is like a little butterfly flitting around from flower to flower to marshmellows. . . . I think she chooses to have SELECTIVE DEAFNESS . . . How could she hear "put your shoes on" when she was flitting to the pantry and the marshmellows?

By the way, do butterflies have ears?

P.S. I left you a comment under your Bedtime Battle post, too.

That SO sounded like, "spill all the marshmallows in the pantry," to me. It might even have sounded like spill the milk. Or empty the underwear drawer. Or feed the goldfish a peanut butter sandwich. Your child is a genius, hearing the unspoken commands.
