Trip to Salt Lake

For my birthday, all I wanted was a trip to Salt Lake to see my family and friends for something other than a funeral. It was so good to see everyone, we got together for dinner at Arty's and it was fun, their backyard looks beautiful, you'll just have to trust me. And all the kids always have a great time at their house. It was just food and noise and fun. I had to get a few pics with my sis! Look at that gorgeous hair of hers, it just curls like that for her. Luckeeee.Grammy took London and I to lunch before the big family get-together, we went to this Indian restaurant and had this drink called a mango lassi, it was super yummy, thanks Grammy! This is Jellybean, she has to be one of the cutest little muffins on the planet, I love her and I love seeing her. I have adorable nieces, I only happened to get a pic of JB though, if you'd like to see my other darling nieces check out Arty's blog, they are too cute! The Boys! Ethan loves his uncles, they had a great time together, he told me that he was really glad to have them because they are goofy like Grandpa was.
Here are my children in a big attack Uncle Dee mode, L was laughing so hard she couldn't even breathe in.
These boys and their Cubs hats. Ethan is a new fan of the Chicago Cubs, but with the help of his uncles, he will soon be a die hard.

KUNG FU PANDA

SKADOOSH

C and E went to Kung Fu Panda on Saturday while us girls were at lunch. They loved it! So, when we went to MacDo's the next day and saw that they had those toys in the happy meals, we had to have them. The kids love those panda bears and the say "HIYA" and "skadoosh" and something else, you'd think I'd have it memorized I've heard it so many times.

L makes the greatest faces for the camera!

We made it to Robert's. I love this store, one day L will too-if she's any daughter of mine!

WAKE UP!
just kiddin' she's so stinking cute.

WE'LL MISS OUR GOOFY UNCLE NATE AND OUR CIVILIZED AUNT MARISA! We had dinner Sunday night with Aunt Sharon to say farewell to these two crazies before they headed out across the country. I'm really gonna miss them. I got some lovely pics of everyone, I really enjoy this one of the original Astin 3. They are so posed, it's like they were just meant to model or something...wow.

Then you have these 2. They were given some stickers, and had a great deal of fun with them, I think Aunt Sharon will be picking up stickers for the rest of her life throughout her spotless home.
See here, my little L has really warmed up to her uncle, it was really hard to let them go, not that I had any choice in the matter, but it was still hard. Okay, here we go, there's a good-lookin' bunch! How cute are these 3? You would never know that beneath the surface they are all nuts would you? But they are! Mark my words....nuts!
We had a good trip to SL, on Monday night I got together with a whole bunch of my old buddies, and wouldn't you know it, my camera went dead, and I don't have normal batteries in this thing, this is a professional big rechargeable battery deal and I only had one and it went dead. Needless to say, I have no pics of my BBQ with my friends. I will have to steal some from their blogs. It was so much fun to get together and watch our kids play together and just talk and catch up. I laughed more that night than I have in a long time, those people. It's true what they say about friends-"make new friends, keep the old, one is silver, the other gold." They are the greatest friends, I'm so glad I got to see them! I love you girls and your cute kids and hubbies!!!

Thanks Netter for putting all that together, I just love you!

It was great to see you, Nickie, to celebrate your birthday. It was wonderful to see London and Ethan too. London is a charmer with own little unique ways and Ethan is soooo tall.
Love,
Grammy

I love you so stinking much! You make me so happy. I loved that Ethan came and gave me the biggest hug ever and called me aunt Ettie - it made my heart happy and I can not get over London. my gosh. I wish I could keep her in my purse and pull her out whenever I want to. That is what I imagine you like as a cute toddler - so adorable.
So glad we got to hang out!

Glad the BBQ turned out so good and all the friends came!

One last thing to this huge post. I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THE BABY ON THE WAY! Love you!

that is what I wanted for my birthday too, to go home and see family and friends. Unfortunately with school, I will be right at the end of finals, and beginning a new class! :(
so where are you guys living then?
