Monday night we got to hang out with our friends the Haddocks. They are such wonderful people and they have the funnest backyard in the whole wide world! Swings, and a trampoline, and a corn field, and chickens and their big dog Remington. Not to mention their fire pit and bunny, and volleyball court and on and on and on! It was too fun.
Smalls was in love with Remi. She just sat on the ground with her and said "oof oof" to her until the novelty wore off...not with Smalls-with Remi.
Look at these 2. I want to get a puppy for her. Sigh, oh well.

We made foil dinners so Kermit could pass off cooking a meal in the outdoors for his family. He has to do that for Scouts. He's getting so good at this stuff. He cut all the potatoes and carrots (and we did not end up in the E.R. as Rambo had planned), and helped cook them in the firepit. Just look how fun their yard is.
And, the most important part of dinner...the dessert! We got to roast marshmallows, and have s'mores. And I gotta tell you, I read on my friend's blog about using a Reese's peanut butter cup in your s'more...holy moly, it was incredible. Thank you Nettie for the idea. I am fatter (and grateful) just remembering the experience.

So I'll have to take more pics to show you what an adorable family they are. I heart them so much!

I wish you all lived closer so Smalls, Tink, and Kermit could all come over and play with Cosmo. He would love it and I will just dream about it. Sometimes dreams come true. Rignt?

Way to go Kermit on scouts. Or should I say way to go mom and helping/or doing it with kermit. Not an easy task! That is for sure!
