At last!!!

Holy moly! I haven't been able to post anything for-well, too long, Blogger hated me for a while, so after a lot of sweet talking, I have convinced him to let me blog. I have a lot of catching up to do.
This particular post has a lot of pictures so I'll try to keep my commentary brief. We got to go to Garden Valley with our friends the Crists and stay at their cabin, it was good fun. Kermit loved 4-wheeling with Adam, we like to call him Hammy (he's a Boise policeman-watch it!)
Hammy and Kermit just out for a lovely drive.
Tink totally wanted to get in on the action, so we let her. Check out this helmet on her-she thought she was going to be driving the 4-wheeler. Sorry sweety, not for like 22 more years okay?

Tink and Rambo gear up for a wild ride. Does Rambo look like he knows what he's doing? Yeah, I didn't think so either-turns out he's not bad on the old 4-wheeler, neither of them died.

Look at her, it's like the helmet is trying to eat her.

She survived the helmet's attempts at consuming her, and Rambo's first time driving one of these babies. It's like a 2-fer.

These are my kids....yep, there they are. My kids...

Then we all got together to watch Hammy chop wood for the fire. Kids love this stuff, don't let them fool you into toys and Nintendo and all that, just chop some wood, yep, that's where the action is.
Smalls and I going for a little walk. She's so cute, I am definitely keeping her.
Don't worry, she didn't actually eat the dandelion-what baby would do that? Okay, she tried to , but after a long talk about how we don't just go around eating weeds, I think she understood
and she'll be a better person for it. Aw Tink, doesn't she look like she has a cheek full of chew? Those are just her naturally chubby cheeks, I love them and I never want her to lose them.
Finally, the day is over and the kiddies are spent. How cute is this?? You don't have to answer....I know.

And it's up bright and early the next day for some shooting with the boys. Don't worry, they are only aiming at adorable little bunnies.
"Yeah, the cute one with the black spots on him, get him!"

"Look, you don't want bunnies making fun of you-that little grey number over there has been laughing at you- now, on my signal go ahead and open fire."
"DIE BUNNIES DIE!!!"
"And that's how you do it."
COCKED, LOCKED AND READY TO ROCK
I can say that if a zombie uprising should ever come to pass, I feel completely safe.
How many of you out there can say that?..... Honestly? Hey, I didn't name him Rambo for nothing. Check out that form, and stance. It's like he's been doing this all his.... last year. Seriously though, isn't he kinda cute? All lookin' tough and stuff.
While the boys were out bunny hunting, the girlies stayed at the cabin and did girly stuff like painting our nails. Tink dug it.
Here are her cute toes, they have stars on them, just the big ones though.

Then we all headed down to play in the river. Don't worry, I didn't let Smalls go, she's not ready for river swimming yet. We just got done with her diving lessons.
Seriously, couldn't you just chew on those legs! I love this baby!
There they are playing in the river! Look at that cute doggy! He was so funny, he jumped in played with the kids and he'd fetch the splashes you made with rocks. I was this close to taking him home (picture me making a pinching motion with my fingers) then I remembered I'm allergic to the little sweeties...sigh.
This picture makes my heart happy, look at Kermit helping Tink across the river. What a good big brother.
My 3 amigos...and that cute dog, he better watch it, if I get enough Benadryl into my system, I may just go dognap him.
If Sport's Illustrated swimsuit issue needs a cover for their next magazine...Tink is their girl-but this is exactly how it has to be, those are my only terms take it leave it S.I.
I get to kiss their little faces every night, how 'bout that?
Hammy and Sproink (she no longer needs her space helmet, but the name stays).
Look how cute she is, she gets all bowed up even for camping.
Thank you Crists for a lovely time at the cabin! We had so much fun, thanks for being such awesome friends.
(No bunnies were hurt during the making of this blog, or our trip to the cabin).

Glad you had fun at the cabin and your kids are adorable. Can I have them?

What wonderful memories you must have. I loved all the photos. I hate to say it but your kids are growing up. Oh, forget I said that. I'm slapping my mouth. Slap. Slap.

I loved the line, "I get to kiss their little faces every night..." You are a great mom.

Looks like a fun trip. Definitely worth missing piano lessons for. How do you get so many pictures in one post? I can never load more than five at a time and I hate breaking up long photo stories. Tell me youre secret.

I am sorry i didn't see this sooner. The only vacations Charlene and i ever had as we grew up were cabin trips in the mountains. We had a cabin at Scofield Reservoir and a mountain cabin up in Kyune. The only way to get to Kyune was by using 4 wheel drive vehicles or on horseback. I was only five miles from the northern mouth of Price Canyon, but it took us over 30 minutes to an hour to get there once we left the main road. It depended on how many beaver dams were built that flooded the roads. I learned to love the mountains. I am so glad that you had the chance to go and have so much fun with your friends.
