Life gets away from me sometimes...

What a summer it has been! We really haven't done anything super cool, we stayed within the state limits of Idaho, but that doesn't mean my kids didn't have a great dang time.
Tink can make a party out of pretty much anything, this particular day was just a day to Costco, aaahhh but the box-the box is an adventure in and of itself.
Tink also decided she would like to be a diver this summer, we had many deep sea diving adventures in our bathtub and in our blow-up pool in the backyard. Oh, and once, we even went to the big big pool at Nana's with our scuba gear. A visit to the doctor's office is nothing to smirk at, not when he has a rolling chair and takes a long time to come in and shoot your baby sister...think about it.
Did we have to even go to the zoo?? No siree, we have goat puppets and Stripes the monkey all at our disposal. Tink and the goat puppet talked long into the night before they both passed out from sheer exhaustion.
"Yeehaw! Let's do some trick-or-treatin'!"
"Oh, but Aubrey will need her sunglasses since this is a day-time trick-or-treating. "
Of course she will.
This pic is for Uncle Nate and Aunt Marisa, they gave us this cute little onesie, but I'm sure Smalls will be a huge fan of Pearl Jam.
More backyard fun, here are some kung fu moves from my children.
Consider yourselves warned.
This little one just takes my breath away, is she not just beautiful???
She has only a few precious months left before she joins ranks with these 2 yahoos. Just the thought of it brings tears to my eyes.
This picture melts my heart.

Smalls 6 month pictures.
I think it looks like a delicious foot, don't you?
Look at that little dimple! What will I ever do when this little one is not little anymore!?!?
BACK TO SCHOOL!
It's true, school has begun here in Meridian Idaho. Look at this Kermit of mine, he is in 2nd grade this year, doesn't he look refined and distinguished the way a 2nd grader should?
Sunday night we were getting his clothes out to be all ready for the morning and when I asked Kermit if there was anything he wanted to wear he said, "Mom, I just really want to look cool-y'know like the kids in the Sears commercials!"
Seriously.....Sears? Come on....of all the stores he could have said.......Sears?
The kid cracks me up.
And last but refusing to ever be least, we have Tink who began preschool today at Busy Bee's preschool, she had the best time with all the "cute kids".
She took a cookie to her teacher this morning and gave her a big hug, she was so excited to be starting school, but she thinks it really stinks that the big school bus doesn't come get her yet. That's okay though, she will let mom take her to school I guess.
We walked in the door and this girl could not stop jumping up and down, she had the best time and wants to go back right now! I'm totally okay with that, but I'm not sure how Miss Janet feels.
We had a super fun summer, we really didn't do much, but I discovered I really didn't have to do much, we had such a good time just being together and hanging out. I love my kids, but I'm not gonna lie, I love having them in school, they like each other a lot better now too-now that they're not spending every waking hour together.
Phew!

P.S. Your dad always said that London always made everything a party, too. . . just wanted you to know that he felt the same way.

When Ethan came up to help Grandpa get all the air of the air mattress, he had fun and was smiling, but when London showed up to help, she made it a party, and because London was being such a daredevil and was laughing so much, Ethan laughed a lot more, too.

Those are wonderful treasured memories.

I just watched a spider and an earwig attack each other - and I thought of you! ;) Cute new pictures I can't believe they're both so grown up and Ethan - is cool just like the sears commercials :) Anyway, we miss hanging out. maybe sometime soon.
