Blessing Day (and other fun things)

Wow, again, I have let too much time go by since I last posted.
Aubrey was blessed yesterday, and it was sooo much fun to have family come up here, it was really good to see my goofy brother. Every time I get to see them, it just reminds me of how much I miss them. Here's sweet little Aubrey in her blessing stuff. All 3 of our kids have been blessed in this little number, I think they look absolutely precious in it, I love tying the bottom closed and then watching them kick around inside it. Too too cute.

I kind of like her.

This is just some weird guy we let come to the blessing, then he followed us to our house for treats afterward...who does he belong to?
Love you Gramps. Me and my baby. Love her!And the big stars of the day, Aubrey with her sweet daddy. He did such an amazing job on the blessing, he always does. I love hearing him pray for our babies, I love my sweetheart (sometimes I kiss him).Okay, are these the funniest things you've ever seen? I love them! They're called baby legs and I got them at Target (of course-I don't know what I would do without that store). Tink helped me pick them out, she liked the rainbow ones for little sis. Doesn't she look like a 1980's aerobics instructor? LOVE IT!Speaking of sisters! How cute are these 2 together. Tink loves to hold her, I just have to constantly remind her that Aubrey is not a doll. PLAYDOUGH NIGHT!!!
My creative children, Kermit made this colorful little ball, he called it a Tribite. He just corrected me on the grammar, see, it needed a capital "T" because that's his name. What a show-off.
Tink made a caterpillar, and I made the monster! I'm sooo good at playdough, don't even try to beat me in a playdough-monster-making contest, I will kick your trash!
CAN WE KEEP HER??? My super cute sis-in-law came up on Valentine's weekend to hang out and meet Aubrey and take out my garbage and do my dishes and just be awesome. It was sooo good to have her come, I love this woman. My kids are crazy about her too, they had a really hard time letting her go home-okay, so it was actually me who had a hard time letting her go, but who's counting?

They're doing Mad-Libs together, she had my kids in hysterics with her yoda voice. She was so much fun.Jen, come back anytime for as long as you want. We love you and miss having you here, every time we make smoothies we will think of you. The thing is, I make smoothies every day, so your nose must be pretty itchy.Woowee!!!! Naked girl!!! I love baby bathtime, it is so precious, and smells so good and is so difficult to get them out and onto the towel safely without dropping them. Luckily, I haven't dropped one yet (although, you wouldn't know it with Tink). I love giving her baths, she loves them too. Kermit is so awesome with Aubrey, he loves to hold her and feed her and protect her from Tink. He's such a good brother, what would we do without you Kermit? He loves that he can hold her and walk around with her. Tink, well, she loves doughnuts.
Just a sweet little girl.
We love having this little girl in our house, it seems like she took forever to get here, but she was definitely worth the wait.

She looks so cute in her little blessing outfit. My mom loved coming up for her special day.

And cool COOL monster--you totally kick trash in playdough monsters! I'm seriously impressed.

What a lovely bunch of photos. I KNOW how long that took to load. That baby is seriously darling. My favorite is the one where she look like she's saying, "Wait, now who are you?"

She looks so beautiful and alert. I'm glad the blessing day turned out wonderful...although I alost fell on the floor to see C. in church clothes. Just not the same as blue or green scrubs with a blue sweater ;)

Congrats again!

o.k. so, I'll be there in 6 hours, give or take. I seriously teared up looking at all of you and missing you. There is a very special spirit in that sweet little angel. Although she is so tiny, she had a way of putting me at complete ease and peace. I want to feel her sweet, velvety cheeks against mine again! I am so glad that I have my girls around to keep me from going crazy missin tink and e. Sage started putting socks on her hands, like puppets, the way I remembered you blogged about Tink. It made me extra happy. I wish we could be closer and share more recipes and jewelry ideas. I remember what Rich said about your dad...every time I left I had the feeling that I got more out of our time together. And Cris, I'm keepin' The Conchords close in ear.."Could someone please remove these cutleries from m' knees?"
Love to you all... a very good time with you, I had. Jen :)
