So, here's how it is. I was so worried about life with 3 kids, I would think things like, "what if I can't handle this" or "HOW does anyone do this", and finally, "too late now, here we are". Turns out, I loooove my kids, and I was right to have such thoughts. Life is crazy around here. Not quite asylum crazy, more like funhouse crazy. You never know what you're going to step in, I literally get dizzy from going around cleaning the same things over and over, it's noisy, and-let's face it smells kind of weird sometimes.
Tink and Kermit are great, they always crack me up and they love to help with Smalls. They do have their moments still, you know the ones-where you kind of want to just put them away in a box like you do with puppies. Never in my life did I think I would have to scream out, "Ethan, quit letting the Bakugans shoot the Pet Shop!" While Tink is running out of her room frantically with her arms full of little tiny Pet shop pets.
The first grade humor around here is getting out of control. My children are positive that if you say the word poop in place of anything ie. "tonight for dinner we're having chicken and poop" it is absolutely hilarious. Sometimes it makes me want to squeeze the poop out of them-but then I would have to clean it up, so see-not hilarious.
The other night, Rambo was at work, but there was a ward party, so I decided the kids and I would go. It was fun, there was the ceremonious running through the halls (all the kids were doing it mom). So when it came time to leave, I had 2 very tired children (hallelujah!) On the way home, Tink was so funny. She sat in her seat with her head tilted back and her eyes closed very tight, she then announced, "MOOOOM, I CAN'T SEE MY BRAIN!" Followed up with, "Ethan, turn on the light." I was dying laughing.
Kermit very seriously explained to Tink that even if he turned the light on she would not be able to see her brain because her eyes had to be closed to see it, but when you close your eyes everything goes dark anyway.
This is the very first scientific discussion Tink has ever had.
I know one day she will be brilliant, however, at this point I think we should just plan on her being a stunt woman someday.
Isn't she absolutely precious? Her hand isn't weird in real life, it's perfect ( I just caught her in a moment of action-packed baby waving).
Look at this sweet blanket, her Aunt Tricia made it-yep, that's right folks MADE IT! It smells wonderful and it's soft and sweet, it's perfect. Thank you thank you thank you Aunt Tricia.
The cute little duckies jammies are from Grammy, they are the "Grammy jammies" ha! I just thought that up all by myself. I'll be here all week.
Look how cute the edges are of this blanket, they're all ruffley, how did she do that? My sis is amazing.
And check out those cheeks! They're coming in nicely, I love to just chew on them.

And thank you Aunt Camille for they beautiful dresses! Tink couldn't wait to wear her "spot dress" so she's worn it a couple times. Smalls doesn't fit into her's just yet, we'll get there though (even thought I'm seriously trying to talk her out of growing altogether.)
Anyway, life with 3 is nuts, and hilarious, and wonderful, and busy. Sometimes an asylum doesn't sound so bad...

But just for me-and only sometimes.
Love to everyone!!!

I'm loving the "spot dress". It was so totally adorable when I saw it--I knew it couldn't be passed up. And I'm glad to see you have found the perfect hair bow to go with it!! Now I can't wait to see Smalls in hers. :) What cute pics--and such cute kids! And great job on the blanket Tricia. I'm lovin' it!
p.s. Are you in lots of snow. :) Well, you'll have to check out my blog and be jealous. I even went to the zoo today. But that's another story. Because I took hilarious pictures of a book called "Zoo Poo" and a sign that says "Made of Real Poo." I'm serious--it really said that. I may just have to do a "poo post."
I am so happy for you!! it sounds like your life is full of ups and downs and all arounds!! that is how it is in my house too, but without the girls =)! I am sorry it has taken me a while to get back with you, things have been very crazy!! Smalls is so beautiful!! Do you just love having a little one around again? i can't wait to do that again.
I hope all is well for you and your cute family. Keep up the good work mom!!

oh ya, i made my blog private, so i need your email address to invite you. Will you email it to me please at boysrusteph@gmail.com thanks!!
I loved your post and the adorable photos and stories. Thanks for taking a picture of Smalls in her Grammy Jammies. I just loved it when Tink said, "I can't see my brain--turn on the light." You never know what she is going to say next--that is what makes kids so fun to be around. Tricia's afghan is just incredible. She is very gifted at crocheting. Kiss everyone for me. It is Tricia's birthday today and it was great of you to show off her afghan on her special day, so I will sign off and call her.
What a darling post. Love the peek into your busy life. I can tell you love it. And why do kid run in the halls at church? I don't get it but they all do, all over the nation.
That baby is beautiful and totally worthy of that beautiful blankie and grannie-jammies.
I love the stories, your kids are so adorable!! I can totally understand the craziness, and really what would life be with out it! love you!!
You make me so baby hungry!!! Love all the sweet pics. I know about the asylum, I wish for it daily!

You are hilarious! I didn't know you had a blog, so I'm so happy you commented! Seeing pics of your ADORABLE little Aubrey makes me excited for a baby girl, which is good, I need to start getting excited as opposed to freaked out!!!! You crack me up, and so do your cute kids.
Thanks for keeping us updated with the family. Aubrey is so precious! I just smile when I think of her (and cry a bit too!) Unfortunately, my kids agree that any "poop" talk is hilarious! I wish I thought so! Luva you guys! Jen
