Oh, kids...

We begin our post with Tink at the toy store. First of all, I love how she just piles tons of stuff in her arms and carts it around the store like we're going to buy it. I love the video, we found a little keyboard that played what I deem to be some of the finest music ever written. Tink loved it too, she stood there dancing to it forever, she's quite a dancer if I may say so.

Yep, I think she's got like 3 purses, a couple of puppets, and at one point she had some trains.
BABYSITTING
We got to watch our good friends little girl last night, I believe I shall call her Sproink, she's so cute with that helmet and the little piggy tails, she looks like a darling little martian. I've decided all mobile babies should have a helmet. This little Sproink was into everything, and every time she fell down and hit her head, not a peep was heard. Helmet = happy baby.
Tink got out every baby toy we have for Sproink. And then she decided it was a good idea to "cook" and be a super hero. She's got her apron and her cape on to do some extremely dangerous cullinary dishes. Sproink is her anxious assistant.
Just a good view of my little Iron Chef and her amazing talent for style. Pretty soon Kermit was in on the act, he loves babies (good for our little one in the oven). He did everything in his capacity to protect and entertain Sproink. He picked up toys that were too little for her, he danced and sang for her, and patiently showed her how a lot of the toys worked. Tink simply stood among them doing her own thing-cooking, saving the world, that sort of thing.
All in all, it was a good night-BUSY, but really good. I hope my crazy monkeys are as good to our baby as they are to Sproink.

Tink is so creative. I can never possibly guess what she will do next, and Ethan is so surprising that he was trying to actually pick up the dangerous toys and entertain the baby. He is very mature for his age.

Your kids are wonderful. Thanks for the update.
Also thanks for all your comments on my blog. You will never know how much I appreciate hearing from you.

It does hurt to touch my eyebrow, but I just think the whole thing is terribly funny. However, I keep getting the strangest looks from people in the stores. Everybody looks at me like I have been beaten up by someone very abusive in my family.

Thursday, I went to the gas station to get gas for the lawn mower. I had a big 5 gallon container and because of my arthritis in my hand, I was having difficulty taking the lid off of the container in order to fill it. A teenage boy who looked a little scary came over to help me. He asked if I had run out of gas and if I needed a ride. He insisted in filling my gas can, carrying it over to the truck, and putting it in the back for me with the comment, "I used to do this kind of thing for my mom before she died." I hope he realized how much I needed and was grateful for his help.

Tink is too cute for words or too cute to be true or something like that.

You're sick woman. You posted like four blogs in the time span that I did maybe two. I'll have to check more often. Keep them coming.

Ahh...I remember the helmet days with Karli. We agree with you that they are a nice asset...we continued to put her in it while she was learning to walk and we wished that we had one for Sage in her toddlerhood. We both think that they should market them for toddler safety. Heck, Sage still needs one daily the way she climbs on, over, & through everything and bonks her head. I'll have to pull out the bike helmet. :)
The video was priceless...Tink does have the hip action goin' for her. It was awesome..."American Girl" loaded in perfect rhythm to her hula action! CUTIE PIE!
(Are you gonna find out if your having a boy or a girl? I'm dyin' for the news (and video clip)!

I get a kick out of watching London's shopping experiences! And the cullinary arts, a very well rounded child! Who is that cute little Sproink? Thanks for watching her. It was a much needed night out. We still need to have a scrap night and let the husbands play. Adam is talking about going shooting sometime next week if you hubby is open.
