Losing teeth, painting nails, and Halloween costumes

We start our post with Tink's first manicure. I painted my nails Saturday night, and Tink decided she needed pretty nails too. It was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be, I just used a quick-dry nail polish, so she was surprisingly patient with it.

Here is an ensemble only Tink could create. She has my slipper socks on, and then she decided she needed "muffins" on her hands, so she coordinated her socks with mine, and voila! She is the height of style!
Kermit lost another tooth! This boy will be my very own livng jack-o-lantern this year. He lost his tooth the other night, and the stupid tooth fairy forgot to come to our house, what a jerk! She pulled it together though and made it the next night. He got a shiney gold dollar coin thing. Oh, that tooth fairy!
Another lovely smile from my incredibly handsome boy!
Here is Tink's Halloween costume...I'm not sure exactly what it is, but she loooooves it! She just calls herself the "spider princess" so I'm sticking with that. Nana and Aunt Sassy found this in Vegas (I think she's too young to be wearing costumes from Vegas, but that's just me). Tink has fallen in love with it, and she does look quite lovely in it.
I love the hair thing-not sure what that is either, but Tink calls it her crown, so we're just gonna go with it, she knows what she's talking about right?Time for some funny faces! This is not a hard thing for my kids to take time and make silly faces.Kermit's is a little more of a "tough guy" face, but he thought it was pretty hilarious.Tink stayed in "spider princess" form for the rest of the evening until dinner time, because stroganoff just doesn't look good down the front of any gown, even a spider web gown.Needless to say, Tink is excited for Halloween and trick-or-treating, and spookies at the stores and all that. Kermit has decided he would like to be a Storm Trooper, so we'll get right on that!

I think Tink is exactly right--She definitely looks like a Spider Princess. That is one nifty costume. I think I should have one just like it. Do you think it is too fancy for Church? I know...it would be right at home at the ballet. After all, they have a Nutcracker Prince and a Snow Queen.

Congratulations Kermit on getting more loot from the tooth fairy. Call me and let me know about school.
