We begin our post with Tink begging me for Whoppers. She seriously got down on her knees and did this little "hands folded" trick, she kills me.
How could I say no? Plus, there weren't that many left, so I just let her go nuts. Look at her, she's in some sort of daze...I guess I get that way too with Whoppers-let's face it, who doesn't?
We get to take Tink everywhere while Kermit is at school. We decided to go to this little country store with her where she found these spools (at least I think that's what they are)-for Tink, however, these are "strongy strongs". She promptly began weight lifting with them right there in the store. I'm a little shy about my strength, I probably wouldn't have done it right there, I would have waited until no one was looking.
Tink and Heath enjoying an ice cream cone. Jil and I went to the mall and I'd like to say we had fun, I just think it could have been funner if the babies understood just how important shopping is. Oh well, thanks Jil, our trip will be different...maybe we should send the daddies to the mall with the kids while we're gone!
Lately, we can't have a meal without some sort of "friends" being at the table with us. Tonight, our dinner guests happened to be Monkey, Dragon, and Giraffe. Tink isn't all the creative with naming just yet-Unless, you count her froggy, her name is Skadoosh, I thought that was pretty cute, but these poor suckers didn't get the creative names.
Our FHE consisted of a lesson catered to Tink and then cookie baking. I decided to let each of the kids crack an egg into the bowl (don't I look confident?)
Now it's Tink's turn.
I said "INTO the bowl Tink" I've got to hand it to her for trying. The egg shells went right into the bowl, the egg was not so lucky.
After I cracked a new egg into the bowl, Tink decides to inspect my work.
I think she approves.
Finally, the cookie dough is ready, and there are cookie blobs in the oven, and my family is excited about that.
Kermit could not figure out how a cookie becomes flat so, he watched the entire process in the oven. Tink was not so patient, but humored Kermit for a minute.
I think over all, they were both impressed with how well our cookies turned out, I was.
Well, I can hear Tink calling me, so I will say goodbye for now. I'm sure she needs something very important like pink milk or stitches.

What a good mommy you are. My family home evening consisted of Oh crap its FHE. What should we talk about. Ok faith "Faith is like a little seed..." I have a feeling yours was more successful. Again your little family is adorable.
Oh that tink I could just squeeze her to death - do they come any cuter? Love it! She is so adorable and so creative and the things she says are so cute.
You are looking beautiful might I add!
Love how the egg didn't make it in. Brave mama for letting her try.
You are so good to have the camera our for all of that. I always forget to have it handy. Mmmmm...Whoppers.
K, TRUE story. I'm not kidding! The first thought that popped into my mind when I saw that first picture was "I want hair bows like that. I wonder if Nick would make me some like that." I'm totally honest here. (Plus, that was the cutest picture ever!) Then because I have been gone for 9 days, I decided to read further to see what I missed. That's when I saw the post about hair bows. We are SO in synch right now--it's crazy. Oh, how I love all those cute hair bows. I wish my boys would like some to match their "outfits." lol
p.s. K, I just read through my crazy long comment and it doesn't seem so "I'm not kiddingish", but it was to me, so hope you like it. lol :)
I loved watching every step of the cookie making process. Thanks for all the photos. I have a contest question coming up as soon as I can download and pick just the right photo.
Stayed "tuned in."

Thanks Shirt for the nice compliment. I think I would look good in bows too! :) I wear red and blue a lot because my favorite color is blue and I look good in red--at least that's what the inside wrapper on the dove chocolate that I ate today said. I'm serious--that's what the foil wrapper said "You look good in red." So how can I argue with that!? lol
I had to sign on again to see what Shirt said about bows for Camille. Then I saw that irresistible picture of Tink on her knees begging. Well, I could never say "No" to that, either. I love how you fix her hair, too, especially when it is all up in 2 little pony tails with cute bows.
I have had only one guess so far on my last contest. I thought someone would get it right away.
our eggs look the same as Tink's. Lysol saves me everytime! :)
So I can't see the text on your blog. Am I the only one having this problem? Please help because I want to read your musings.
