The Blanky

Okay, I know that just about every mom has a child who requires some object at almost all times. London's "requirement" is her "squares blanket".

She loves this blanket, there have been many Sunday mornings we've made it to the car with every blessed thing in the house we thought we needed-but NO!!! we've forgotten the squares blanket.

Well, I had to wash it yesterday, that did not go over well.

Reunited and it feels so good.

She is so funny! It's funny that I can almost hear her cry from the computer, seriously in my head I totally heard exactly how upset she was.

When the nurse took Camille, at age 2 1/2, down to the OR to have her tonsils and adnoids out, she screamed so much for her blankie that they had to come back to the room to get it, so she would calm down so they could sedate her. It worked. She had a very quick recovery, and when she went home that night, she ate a pork chop, orange juice, and from that night on she was also potty trained. I wonder what they put in her anesthesia.

oh do we know about the blankies. You should see J's it used to be pink, there is a hole big enough in the seam that she can put it around her head and even when I wash it with bleach it still never smells to great. Whatever it takes for the little ones, they are SO worth it:) She is such a doll.
