YUM

St. Patrick's Day...
We usually don't do a whole lot for this day, except dress in green.
I guess I need to step it up, all kinds of people are like telling their kids that a leprechaun snuck in and left stuff all over. We have Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and now we need a leprechaun!? I can't keep up with all these roles. Let's face it, some people are just better moms than others. But who am I kidding? I'll probably try to remember to be a leprechaun next year, I'll need a reminder call though.
So, I got up not thinking much of the day, but Tink was in a whole other stratosphere. She wanted to be head to toe in green, she wanted a shamrock painted on her face, she wanted gold coins from a leprechaun (dropped the ball there huh). Also, I told her I would make cupcakes for her class St. Patrick's Day party, so those had to be done in rainbows for the leprechauns too.
Smalls needed a shamrock. I had one too, but we don't need a picture of that. Smalls was also very helpful in the frosting creating...what a gal.
Kermit could have cared less. He didn't even wear green-that's right I said it, KERMIT didn't wear green, so I got to pinch him a whole bunch when he got home from school...that'll teach him.
Here are the finished cupcakes! They were so yummy.
And, check out their rainbow-ness.
I better just test one and see...
I think the leprechauns would approve.
Do you leave something out for leprechauns? Or do they just take what they want?
Seriously.

Okay whatever - I may throw a box of lucky charms my kids direction on St Patty's day, but I don't do awesome cupcakes, or awesome cakes for carnivals, or sport a cute shamrock on my cheek. Seriously - you're full of it, you're one of my heros!

oh my heck those cupcakes are so stinking cute! I love that idea remind me next year would you?
Look how big smalls is getting. YOU can pull her hair back in a pony tail! Adorable and Kermit kills me! He sure knows what he wants to do. Love that you pinched him a bunch!

People have started giving gifts and I think that is nuts. I give two chocolate coins that is it. I can't afford all these holidays LOL!
love you!

I WAS going to comment that I don't do anything either..... except you DO lots of stuff. You are a disgrace to slacker moms everywhere.

LOVE the cup cakes.

Also, I finally heard the "jar of farts" song. I TOTALLY think they should offically change the lyrics!

Ok, this is like record-breaking-comment-day or something!

WAY cute cupcakes, btw. You're amazing.

The Leprechaun thing kills me and I'm holding off for as long as I can. I mean, I'm all about loving and spoiling my little one but the LEPRECHAUN???? I only wore green growing up and that was enough for me. Oh, I think we had occasional green pancakes or something. Anyway, I have friends that give gold coins, have lucky charms for breakfast, and they tell their kids that the Leprechaun turned their milk green. That's cute and easy, but I'm not doing it until Jackson actually knows what is going on! :)

Love you!
