GeT YoUr PUmpKiN oN!

My sister and her husband came to visit us this last weekend. We had such a good time with them! Thank you so much for coming up and seeing us Trish and B! We love you.
We did a lot of fun things but one of the highlights of the weekend had to be the Pumpkin Patch. Here's how we made out! Pretty good huh, I could have done a lot more damage. Not a lot of people know this but one of my dream jobs is Pumpkin Farmer. The other dream job is to be the person in and infomercial who's all frustrated with the "regular product".
Movin' on.-oh wait, first I have to say this!!!
THANK YOU
Nana and G-Pa for my Halloween treat. I got this box the other day, check out that stamp job. The mailman and I chatted about the beautiful job that was done on this box. I told him I thought I could guess who it was from, and I was right! Nana and Grampa.

Here's the best part! Check out what they sent me! HOW CUTE!!! I love the movie Nightmare before Christmas-I don't take it to that weird "goth" level that some people take it to. I have no tattoos of Jack Skellington or anything like that (sorry to disappoint my male readers), I simply love the movie and must watch it every year this time of year (since highschool srsly).
They are so thoughtful and they sent these adorable figurines of Jack and Sally to me. I loooooove them. I giggled and jumped up and down and all the things a 12 year old girl would do if she got a note from a boy she really liked.
What I'm trying to say is I LOVE THEM, thank you so much Mom and Dad, you are so good to me. I love you and thank you very much.

Thank you for taking that side-trip with me, and now...
BACK
to the Patch.
Takin' a hay ride. Smalls loved this part, can you tell? She is all kinds of excited to get on a trailer thing and sit on a bale of hay and-well, ride.
And Tink, it doesn't matter where we go or what we are doing, she will always find a bug who needs to be loved. Here's the lucky bug now.
And there's my Kermit with his very own, custom-made jack-o-lantern smile. I love this kid.
And there's Trish and B, are they the cutest USU fans you ever saw? Well, there the cutest ones I ever saw.
Here's the farmer who drove us out to the patch. We got to drive past the apple orchards (where we were a few weeks ago) and we drove past the turkeys and gobbled at them-turkeys stink. They are yummy...but man...they stink.
Kermit jumped right in! My kind of guy. Check him out. He picked that guy off the vine, that's not always easy to do, but he did it!
Trish wanted all of them and she was going to try to pick up all of them at once. I don't know if you can see it, but she's holding 3 pumpkins, and this was at the "beginning end" of the patch. She loves her pumpkins (almost as much as me).
B proved to be quite the pumpkin picker as well. We had so much fun. They were such good sports coming out the patch with us and our munchkins.
Smalls could not get a hold of how uneven the ground was and finally gave up and sat on a pumpkin. I could not believe how many times she fell down, I wish I had a video of it, I was laughing too much though (mother of the year right here).
Doesn't Rambo look like he just saved those pumpkins from an explosion? He could be coming out of a jungle in Vietnam with those guys.
It's very emotional.
And look at B just showing off. He's all, "Yeah, that's right, I only need one arm to hold pumpkins."
"No thanks, I'm just browsing."
I think we've picked all the winners.
Kermit has definitely found his.
And Tink has found her's.
And I found mine.

B, your mom is gonna love this picture.
There are my 2 perfect pumpkins, round as can be.
It was a long day of picking pumpkins, but we made it. We had such a good time.
Tink was so happy with her little pumkin.
Waiting for the pumpkins to get weighed, we bought 40 pounds worth of pumpkins, it was a beautiful thing.
She couldn't get enough...what can I say?
One more picture of these little lovebirds. Look how cute this place is!
And now for the carving! Kermit really wanted to carve pumpkins with his Uncle B, he talked about it for weeks, so in a sense, we are watching his dreams come true...magical huh.
Here's the girl's team carving away. Trish looks like she is having the time of her life. That's just what Idaho offers you-the time of your life.
Gooey pumpkin guts. Kermit looooves this part.

Tink is not such a fan, but she had to try it.
"Bleck" is what she said.
Doesn't Aunt Tricia look beautiful? It's amazing how hard it is to take pictures of kids and dogs.
Here is Aunt Tricia, Uncle B, Gordon, Arnold, and my 3 stooges.

And here are our pumpkins. I have to concede to the boy's team, their's looks amazing, and I love how they added that finishing touch to their masterpiece: pumpkin guts.
We miss you already and hope you come back soon! We love our Uncle B and Aunt Tricia!!!

How fun is that to go to a pumpkin patch to find your own pumpkin and with your sister, too. Sisters are great! It looks like you had a great weekend.

Hey YOU know Heed and Patty TOO? What a small world.

I'm jealous of all your fun, I wouldn't be much fun at this minute since I am as big as a house and can't hardly walk. You know, it makes it hard to live. But just you wait, next year I'll be great. You guys are tons of fun.
