We have new floors! I am so loving our new floors! Again, my sweet sweet in-laws have come to our little home's rescue and got us a beautiful new floor. It goes from the entry, to the living room to my room and I love it love it love it! Now I just need to paint everything.
My cute new living room.
My cute new bedroom!
And my cute new kids-I mean entry way.
Look how shiny it is!
Gleam.
We love them and could never thank our sweet Grandpa and Nana enough
*FATHER'S DAY!!!*
I am heading straight into Father's Day. Smalls cannot love her daddy enough. She loves Rambo more than anything in the world, including puppies, she is a Daddy's girl through and through, and I would be lying if I said Rambo doesn't enjoy every second of it. It is all cute and good now, but wait until she is a teenager and wants a new car and a prom dress and on and on and on. She has him so wrapped. Smalls spent the night before Father's Day snuggling Rambo to pieces, and that night, she helped me to decorate the house for him.
Here is our little tribute to our daddy! How cute is this family?...well, except maybe for Kermit on the end there...what is with the face? Seriously.
We spent the day doting on our cute dad, made his favorite dinner and dessert and watched a movie together...those are seriously our daddy's favorite things to do, eat and watch movies. I believe he got a very excellent foot rub from Smalls and Tink as well, what a lucky guy, and we are lucky to have him!
*PRESCHOOL TEACHER*
This here was the day Smalls got to meet the infamous Miss Janet.
Miss Janet has taught all 3 of our stinkers in preschool and we love her to pieces, we cannot get enough of this sweet sweet woman!
To our absolute delight, we discovered that Miss Janet has birds!!! And these birds will let you hold them and they will climb on your shoulder and everything! Smalls wasn't too sure about it at first.
Tink loved it and dove right in. Look at that face! She is so proud, this girl loves birds of all kinds, and couldn't believe she was getting to hold one on her finger. That cute lady in the back is Miss Janet, is she the cutest or what?! We love her!
And then Kermit got a turn, now this face I love! He cracks me up, if you can't tell, he doesn't quite know what to do when a camera is held up in front of his cute mug. Miss Janet spent quite a lot of time telling Kermit how handsome he is, and how big he is, and she couldn't believe it! I think she might be as in love with him as I am. That does my heart good.
Smalls then decided she needed another go at the bird and she handled it much better the second time. She still looks a little unsure, but she was giggling within seconds and the bird was so sweet to her! We spent way too long at Miss Janet's house reminiscing about my sweet kids and preschool and how time flies, but it was a perfect summer afternoon.
And this was Smalls first princess birthday party! She has the perfect princess dress and perfect princess hair and the most beautiful princess flip flops you've ever seen! I love this girl! She is the giggliest, happiest kid on the planet and I hope and pray she stays that way. She got to go to a party for a little girl in our ward and let me tell you! Those girls had the best time! I got to go pick up a whole bunch of them! I had a gaggle of princesses in my car and I wish I had taken a picture of that dang it! You will just have to trust me that it was adorable a wonderful and giggly and sparkly and all that good stuff!
More to come, but alas, I must make some dinner for my little family!
