Valentine's Day

Getting ready for Valentine's Day is a nostalgic thing. We made a whole bunch of foam valentine's for Grammy, Nana, and Grampa.
Tink discovered a way to wear them. She looks like a little Yosemite Sam.
It was really fun doing all the valentine's for Tink and Kermit's classes. We glued a Hershey Kiss to each of the notes, and the next day, Smalls helped herself to some chocolate. That didn't go over so well...but we fixed it.
We had a weekend visit from Nana, something we always love.
She brought us Mickey Mouse lollipops! Smalls was in 7th Heaven! She still is actually, as she can't eat that whole thing, so we're eating a little at a time. She has a designated plate for it and everything. She has a little bit every day, and is quite happy with that.
Tink got a long-distance valentine from her friend Madelyn! It was a beautiful blue and yellow necklace. She was so excited to get her valentine IN THE MAIL! Those are always so fun! Thank you Grammy and Nana and Grandpa and Madelyn for the "mail" valentines.
She is such a supermodel. She put her necklace on to wear to dinner that night. She later discovered that her necklace was not just a necklace...get ready for this, those big beads....are really GUMBALLS!!! Can you believe that? How cute is that? The necklace didn't last too much longer after that.
We went to dinner with our good friends the Edwards, they are the nicest people. We went to the Brick Oven Bistro downtown, and it was so yummy. Thank you so much! We had a great time, and I didn't have to cook dinner!
Rambo got me these earrings for Valentine's Day, aren't they pretty?
I really think they're beautiful, but I have no place to wear them, so I took this picture, and took them back.
Thank you honey, it's just that those suckers belong on a pageant queen, and the only thing I'm queen of is the whole laundry kingdom, and my subjects don't care what's dangling from my ears.
Valentine's Day was fun, thank you Dan and Diane for taking us to dinner!
Thank you Nana and Grandpa for the shoes and all the candy and ladybugs!
And thank you Grammy for the Legos and the cutest little Boyd's Bears ever!
We heart all of you!!!

I Love that she loved our valentines and her necklaces. Aren't they so happy!
I need to come up and see you! Madelyn still talks about her sleepover! Hilarious. Probably because it is the only one she has ever had.
I wouldn't have taken back those ear rings. Who says you can't do laundry looking like your ready for the Oscars! :). Glad you had a good Vday. I love seeing pictures of your beautiful children. I can NOT get over how much Aubrey looks like you. I thought London did but holy cow - you have Strong DNA!

Love yoU!

Girl, those earrings are beautiful! You should have kept them. Then you could tell your Man to buy you some fancy clothes and take you out to a fancy place. THEN you could have somewhere to wear them!

I have tried calling several times and here it is 2 weeks later and I still haven't talked to you kids to thank them for all of their cute Valentines to me. I will be home tonight if anybody wants to call. I love that big Mickey Mouse sucker.
