Lotsa Stuff!

Last weekend, we went to Twin Falls to see the open house of the new temple, it was beautiful. It never ceases to amaze me how all the temples are different, but they are all the same too, there's such a calm feeling there-even at the open house. Kermit told me he loved the room where you couldn't talk (the celestial room), I loved that that was his favorite, I think it was my favorite too. I loved looking around that room and seeing my family with me, and knowing there is a deeper meaning to all that-not just a room. The other room Kermit and I loved was the sealing room we went into. It's so neat because there are mirrors on opposite walls so they reflect forever to symbolize eternity, Kermit and Tink loved that. Kermit told me he was so happy we could be a forever family-sometimes, I don't want to ring his neck.
Our other reason for going to Twin was to see "The Greats". Cris' Aunt Jan and Nana came all the way from Maine to see us. It was so good to see them again, I miss them and I love how talking with them is so easy. I can just sit down and talk to them like I just talked to them yesterday, it's hard to believe any time has gone by without them.

We, of course, had to visit the toy store where Tink engineered the Thomas trains (yeah, that was fun pulling her away from that...)
But how cute is that hat on her?
We then had to stop by Best Buy where Tink, Kermit, and I played Rock Band with absolutely no shame. Tink is an amazing drummer.
Look at Kermit, he was really trying to read the words to sing along, I loved it, he's getting too too smart.
Tink and I after church, I have to get these pics when my little ones look all angelic-don't be fooled.
And this handsome boy! Look out ladies of the first grade! This little heartbreaker is comin' at you!Am I the luckiest woman in the world? Look at these hotties! I love my boys.
This was just before we had to say goodbye, Kermit loves Aunt Jan, they got to do a lot together before Rambo and I got to Twin. They went to an aviary, and made a bird feeder, they went to the planetarium-just lots of fun things. All week this week, Kermit has begun most sentences with, "Aunt Jan said..." or "Did you know Aunt Jan can...." He's quite impressed with her.And here's our sweet Great Nana, she is the sweetest, quietest, most loving person. She's one of those people who just makes you want to be a better person just so she'll be glad to know you. How does she do that? I want to know. I love her, we all love her, it's hard to live a whole country away from her. Here are the monkeys with both Nanas and their Great Aunt Jan, don't they just look....thrilled? And this was probably the best picture of them all together. Kermit's face is like that in every pic. Tink slowly got more and more upset as only Tink can-that girl can throw a fit I tell ya!All in all, it was a great weekend with them, it's always good to go see family.
Shout out to my fam! I love you guys and I miss you.

Kermit and Tink? where did you get those nick-names? It's cute and you make me laugh, as always, when I read your stories. How is the pregnancy coming? Bret and I decided to try a puppy instead of a number 3 and four days later (today) we found ourselves at the Vet for an emergency Parvo-virus test and it was positive. So now our little puppy is in the Vet hospital for four days and still might not make it. Maybe we should have tried a number 3, huh? This is worse than a baby. I love ya and you and your kids all look so good and HAPPY. I love that about you.
Miss ya

You all look so great! And I loved what you said about the temple. It's amazing how insightful those little ones can be with the Spirit. When we went to the Snowflake open house, one of my boys mentioned that they liked how the rooms got more bright as you progressed through them. Wow--noticing symbolism already! And the train hat on Tink--you're right--too cute for words!

I wish we could have seen the temple! If only we lived in a smaller country so that we could be closer together. It makes me sad and happy to live in the east, we get my parents and Nana and Jan, too bad it's at the expense of the rest of the family.
