Smalls & Annabellie

Does this just look like my heaven or what!? Two beautiful babies and they are dressed alike for family pics. Who could ask for anything more? This is Annabellie, she is so cute, couldn't you just chew on those cheeks? What a doll!

They were very sweet to each other, shared the binky, honked each others noses, and did a lot of lap slapping and excited breathing. It was even cuter than how I describe it (if you can beleive it...)

Look at that...Smalls is my best sharer, just sticking that bink right in Annabelle's mouth, whether she wanted it or not-what a sweetie.
I mean-look at them, it's ridiculous how cute they are.

Ridiculous.

Smalls has got some major eyelashes, I love this picture it's all about cheeks and eyelashes.

Hey, how did she get in here?
Aw Tink, she manages to get her big face into everything these days, we love ya.

Back to my almost one-year-old! How did this happen? On Saturday, she'll be 1! We need to start her on anti-wrinkle cream, and diet pills immediately!
Just kidding of course.
Smalls didn't think it was funny either.
This picture cracks me up.
Do NOT mess with her plastic samwich!

Follow the Dancin Butt

Tink and I got to go on a Mommy/daughter date! It was awesome, we went to see The Frog Princess, can I just tell you that I loved that movie! My favorite was the glow bug, he was soooo funny, I laughed more than Tink at that guy.
When we were in the lobby, Tink had to get her picture taken with the Chipmunks, doesn't she just look like she belongs in their gang?Excited to see the movie, I believe I look much more excited than Tink to see the movie.

Eating her gummy lifesavers, they are her favorite movie food. There were moments in the movie when the only people you could hear laughing were Tink and I. We got some "looks" they were happy, smiley looks, but still- we are loud. Not to mention that we had to sit in the back row so that whenever the music came on we could stand up and dance. It was so much fun.
I love being with my kids, they are a ton of fun, but there's something about just getting to spend one-on-one time with them, it was such a special night for us, we had some very deep conversations on important matters like what is Gumbo?
I love you Rinky Tink!

What is wrong with me?

Seriously, how long has it been since I blogged?
Ridiculous.
I have a lot of catching up to do, I will spare you the boring-ness and get right down to it.
Kermit had his very first piano recital, he rocked the house! If you have 3 minutes to spare, here is a re-enactment.

I'm trying to catch up on things, hopefully I will have more soon soon soon.

Loves!

Thanksgivin'

We had such a good time-as always with Rambo's family for Thanksgiving. I had to get a picture of my matchie matchie girls in their cute pumpkin sweaters from Nana, how cute are these girls?
Look up and smile Tink...yep, there it is. And who's that lovely lady in the middle of the mayhem I call my daughters? That's Aunt Sharon. She and Tink had a great old time together, and I think Tink is quite in love with her. At one point I went up to Aunt Sharon's room and she had Tom and Jerry on for Tink while she was crocheting. They had some interesting conversations, and I think they became a little closer over the holiday. She was not happy when we had to leave her. Poor poor Tink. And of course, Smalls thinks she's the bees knees (that means she likes her a lot too).

Snackity snackin'. You would think that the awesome turkey dinner would be enough, but not for our Nana and Grampa, they always get super yummy snacks to munch on the whole day. I had ridiculous heartburn so I didn't get much of a chance to eat any, but I know they were yummers.

Oh, Kermit. Rambo, Grampa and Kermit all went out to play some traditional football, I don't think Kermit liked it too much. I think I need to get him into a football thing next fall, doesn't he look like he was just made for football? Hmmm, maybe some hoops...he's diggin soccer lately too, who knows? Maybe he'll just be all 3 and a hot piano playin' super star. Yeah, that sounds more like him.
And here she is, the happiest pilgrim on the planet earth! Doesn't she look like she's just bubbling over with happiness? You can tell she loves a good feast, and her turkey, my my they make a cute little couple. We had such a yummy dinner. Thank you so much Nana and Grampa, you do so much for us, and we are so thankful for you.

Of course, after turkey, it's time to deck the halls. Smalls was very helpful this year. Here's how this little moment went.
Rambo: HEY, what are you doing???

Smalls: "just smile real cute and you won't be in trouble"
She is so right, how does she do that?

Look who finally decided to crawl.

Okay, well, not Kermit, although he can crawl with the best of them. I just had to post a picture of him in his scout shirt. This kid kills me, we had to talk him into going to scouts, he told us he didn't want to be left alone on a mountain to camp by himself and sleep in a tent all by himself. So I asked him what that had to do with scouts and he informed me that's what scouts is....
I tried to explain to him what scouts is, but he didn't believe me because I'm a girl, and I've never been in scouts. Of course this conversation all happened on a night Rambo was at work, so I had no boys to back me up, so we had to call Grampa and ask him what scouts was all about.
This seems to have worked because here he is all scouted up. Doesn't he look thrilled about it?
Truly though, he looks adorable in his scout shirt, and that little scarf! Could you die? Love this kid.SSShhhhhhh, Smalls has to get really good sleep these days because...

SHE IS CRAWLING!!!
Look at this picture, it's a little blurry because that's how fast of a crawler she is!

Look at the determination on her face, she's amazing.

And she's made it to the stairs! Fantastic crawling there by Miss Smalls!
She can crawl all she wants as long as she stays all cute and chunky, that's out deal take it or leave it Smalls.

A lot

Here we go! Kermit is a baptized little muppet! We're so proud of him and his decision to do this, what a cool kid he is.
After being dunked, he came up and said, "TOASTY!" I guess that meant the water was warm enough
Don't they look fabulous in their jumpsuits? Rar. You can't go getting baptized and not have a picture with your huggy/squeezy mom. Kermit loves it when I hug him like this, but it's not complete without me covering his freckley little face in big kisses. HE SO LOVES THIS!!! Take notes everybody, so you'll know when you see him to do exactly this. These are our sweet friends Dan and Diane, Dan is out stake Patriarch and he was super good friends with my dad. Diane and Bonnie have been friends since they were fetuses, so they know each other really well and love each other tons.
When they found out Kermit was being baptized on Halloween they asked to speak at his baptism! None of us even knew it, so we were so excited to go into the chapel and see their names on the program. They are the sweetest people, we just love them.

After the big baptism it was time to get down to a different kind of business: trick-or-treating. I had to get this picture of Tink's hair, it made me so happy, look at those spiders in her hair! I'm still not totally sure what she was for Halloween, but her hair rocked! Here is Smalls all bundled up and ready to go. She was comfy and super warm in this beautiful Halloween afghan made by her Aunt Shirt! At this particular moment, she is enjoying a sucker. When I say enjoying, I mean obsessing-she was livid when we had to take it from her for a minute! And this is not a child who gets mad, but you take her sucker away from her and WATCH OUT!
The Trick-or-Treaters!!! Before going we had to sic Kermy on the gorilla in our front yard JUST KIDDING! That is Uncle Havel and that is a costume! Smalls is a pumpkin!
Hey there Little Red Riding Hood (sing along) you sure are lookin' good, you're everything a big bad gorilla could want! OOOOWWWWW!
Kermit is Commander Fox-for those of you who do not know who that is, he is a Clone Trooper. See what I mean about Tink? What is she? I do not know, but I think she's cute anyway (a fairy spider princess???)
After treking through the hood we had pizza-Thanks Grampa and Nana, we danced a little we took pictures and just had a fun night.

I love this picture, Bonnie looks like she goes over photos with gorillas all the time, it's just so blah to her. And last but not least, Smalls and Uncle Havie. She wasn't even phased by this. Should I be worried for what that could mean for her future?
We had such a fun night with everyone, we want to do this every year for Halloween. I know, Kermit can't get baptized every Halloween, but really come back next year...I mean it! don't make me get mad!

Happy Birthday Kermit!

Happy Birthday to our Kermy!
He is now the ripe old age of 8, these are the cupcakes we made for his class, I thought they turned out so pretty, so here they are to eat with your eyes. The super yummers cake!

Check out this birthday boy with his monster green cake, and his candles were so cool the flame was the same color as the wax, they were so pretty, you can't really tell in the picture but they're so cool.
Here is Kermit dancing to our singing "Happy Birthday", check out his moves!
Make a wish!!!
Kermit, we love you and we love having you in our family! You are a wonderful big brother (when you're not fighting with Tink...) you make us laugh, and keep us on our toes. You are such a great helper, you are always helping me with Smalls, you are the best table clearer this side of the Mississippi. We love you and your craziness, happy birthday!
